    David was flexible with dates given I booked less than two weeks before arrival and it was genuinely appreciated. I absolutely loved it.

    David created the perfect balance of structure, exercise and challenge without it ever feeling like a military operation. He's a wonderful coach who has drastically improved my swimming by slowing everything down and focusing on technique - I haven't had a lesson since childhood, but I'm leaving with so much to continue learning and working on when I go back to Australia.

    David and Luna also organised a brilliant surf instructor (Manni), and after just three lessons I was standing up and riding waves with the biggest grin on my face (not bad for a lady in her 40s never having surfed before).

    The villa is lovely, and David and Luna made solo island life genuinely easy and fun - brunches, dinners, local spots - without ever making me feel like a burden.

    I'd recommend SwimFit to anyone.

    Be honest with David about where you're at and what you want to do/achieve and he'll tailor everything. I'd love to return - and my partner has already insisted he comes next time.

    David was a wonderful coach and teacher and massively helped improve my swimming technique - even assisting me in completing a mega sea swim, believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.

    Luna’s villa was lovely and they were both so helpful and friendly in helping us navigate island life.

    Id definitely recommend and would love to return. It’s also good for all capabilities - just be honest with David about where you’re at and he’ll tailor it.

    I spent 6 incredible days in Siargao, and I can't thank David and Luna enough for everything they've done. They are wonderful, warm, motivating people with an energy that's contagious. From the first moment, they made me feel at home.

    Each day began with functional workouts on the beach at sunrise, surrounded by palm trees and the sound of the ocean. A fantastic way to activate the body and mind! We also had superbly guided swimming sessions, tailored to each person's level. And, of course, the surfing lessons were a dream: great attention, helpful advice, and guaranteed fun. I learned so much in a short time.

    We also took a spectacular boat tour of the nearby islands, with local food, snorkeling, and great company. And what can I say about Villa Luna... a beautiful place, full of calm and good vibes. Everything is thought out down to the last detail.

    Without a doubt, this experience has recharged me, made me feel strong, happy, and very connected. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, David and Luna! I'm sure we'll see each other again 🏄‍♂️ 🏝️ 🌊 🏝️

    Just really have to say! If you ever got a chance to visit Siargao, and you’re looking for some fitness elements inserted into your trip while having fun! SwimFit is definitely highly recommended!

    I just finished my 5 days SwimFit retreat, and it was such a splendid experience! I discussed with coach David in advance about my purpose and the things that I would love to try out during the trip, and everything just putted together so well!

    I got chances to improved my swimming skills, do functional exercises at the beautiful beach, and strengthen training in the gym to improve my forms!

    My coach David is super professional and supportive while all the fitness training sessions! PLUS! Addition to the workouts, David also arranged island hopping tour with their cute and well-decorated boat 🚤 not like other tourists boat trip which may be always rushing from an island to another, we got more time to relax and enjoy the island vibe deeper!

    Lastly!!!! Surfing!!!! Which is one of my main purposes in Siargao~~David and his crew know the waves and tide well enough to take you out in the water at the right time! All in all!

    For the program itself it is fantastic! Not to mention David and his team who are super enthusiastic and welcoming. I felt like Siargao is my second home! I will rate 6 stars if google allows me to🤣 ⭐️ shoutout to Siargao/ Swimfit/ David/ Luna for making all this happen🙌🏾

    Just finished a Swimfit retreat feeling rejuvenated and refreshed! I signed up to learn how to surf, become a better swimmer and get to know like minded people on a beautiful island - David delivered in all areas! Some more detail: - The agenda and activities listed on the website are followed to a Tee - all of the food spots we ate at were really good, no bad meals - surf instructors were great in getting you on the best waves and providing constant feedback - David’s swim coaching was first class - everything is taken for including bike rental, beach fees, meals, snacks, ice bath - the vibe is fun and relaxed

  • Surfing sessions with local instructors

  • 2 meals per day are included and are dependent on the tides and activity schedule

For Groups: Villa Luna, General Luna

For large private group retreats, we host you at Villa Luna — a spacious Balinese-inspired tropical villa peace, comfort, and connection.

Each villa can accommodate up to 3 people which is perfect for groups of friends looking to travel together.

You'll have access to shared spaces including a swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen, chill-out areas, and a yoga deck — with quiet corners unwind. Rooms are air-conditioned with hot showers, and Starlink WiFi.

  • Our retreat welcomes participants of all skill levels - from complete beginners to advanced athletes. For surfing, we offer lessons tailored to your experience, with separate groups for those who’ve never stood on a board and those looking to refine their technique. Swimming sessions are also divided by ability, and our functional training can be scaled to match your fitness level.

  • Our retreats welcome participants of all fitness levels! Before the retreat, we’ll ask you to complete a questionnaire about your experience and comfort level with swimming, surfing, and general fitness. All activities offer modifications for beginners through advanced practitioners. While basic swimming ability is recommended for surf retreats, we can accommodate complete beginners with additional support. The focus is on personal growth rather than competition.

  • We provide all essential equipment including surfboards, and training equipment. You should bring:

    • 2-3 swimsuits/board shorts

    • Reef-safe sunscreen (SPF 50+ recommended)

    • UV-protective shirts/rash guards

    • Athletic clothing for functional training sessions

    • Refillable water bottle

    • Towels for beach

    • Flip-flops and athletic shoes (optional)

    Equipment rental is included in your retreat package, but if you prefer to use your own surfboard or specific training gear, you’re welcome to bring it.

  • The retreat is designed to be challenging but adaptable to your fitness level. A moderate level of physical fitness will help you enjoy the activities fully, but all sessions can be modified to match your capabilities. You’re free to opt out of any activity if you’re feeling fatigued or prefer to rest. We encourage participants to listen to their bodies and maintain a sustainable pace throughout the retreat. Rest days or lighter activity days can be arranged with your instructor.

  • The best time to visit Siargao for our retreat depends on your priorities:

    • March to October: Ideal for surfing with consistent swells (peak surfing season: September-October)

    • November to February: Calmer waters, better for swimming and beginners learning to surf

    • April to June: Typically offers the best weather conditions with less rainfall

    • July to November: Can experience occasional rainstorms but offers excellent surf conditions

    Our retreats run year-round, but we adjust the program emphasis based on seasonal conditions to ensure you get the most out of your experience.
