SwimFIT – Terms & Conditions
By booking any service (retreat, local session, or online program) with SwimFIT Siargao (“SwimFIT”, “we”, “us”), and by paying a deposit, part, or full payment, the participant (“you”, “guest”, “client”) acknowledges that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings, Deposits & Payments
Retreats
To secure a spot, a €300 non-refundable deposit is required per person. Bookings are confirmed in writing once payment is received.
The remaining balance is due 60 days before the retreat start date.
Bookings made within 60 days of the retreat start must be paid in full.
Failure to complete payment 60 days before the retreat will result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.
Swimming Lessons & Personal Training
Full payment is required upon booking.
Rescheduling is allowed up to 24 hours before the session. Late cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.
Online Services
Online coaching and technique analysis programs must be paid in full at sign-up.
Once analysis or coaching has commenced, no refunds will be issued.
2. Cancellations & Transfers
By the Guest
Retreat cancellations more than 60 days prior to the start date will be refunded, excluding the deposit.
Cancellations within 60 days are non-refundable, including for reasons such as injury, illness, or personal emergencies.
Retreat bookings are transferable to another person over 18 with written notice at least 14 days prior to the retreat.
Transfers are subject to availability and must be for the same dates and package.
By SwimFIT
SwimFIT may cancel a retreat due to insufficient bookings or circumstances beyond our control. If this occurs, you will be offered:
A full refund of monies paid, or
A rebooking opportunity within 12 months.
SwimFIT is not responsible for incidental costs (e.g., flights, visa fees, etc.) associated with cancellations.
3. Conduct & Participation Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to attend retreats.
For swimming lessons, there is no minimum age, however for children under 18 years, there must be parental consent.
Guests may be removed from a program without refund if they engage in unsafe, illegal, or disruptive behavior, including but not limited to: verbal abuse, harassment, violence, excessive intoxication, or endangerment of others.
Guests are expected to have a reasonable level of fitness. You confirm that you are emotionally, physically, and medically capable of participating without assistance.
You agree to notify SwimFIT of any medical or mental health condition that may affect your participation prior to booking.
4. Liability, Insurance & Medical Responsibility
All retreat guests must obtain travel insurance that includes medical coverage, trip cancellation, and coverage for activities like surfing, swimming, and training.
SwimFIT requires a signed Liability Waiver before participation in any services.
Medical services in the Philippines may be limited in rural areas like Siargao. SwimFIT will assist in arranging emergency care if necessary, but is not liable for treatment quality or associated costs.
Participants accept responsibility for their own health and safety during activities.
5. Itinerary & Service Changes
While we aim to deliver all advertised services, SwimFIT reserves the right to make minor changes to itineraries or scheduled sessions.
If a major change occurs, guests will be informed as soon as possible.
No refunds or compensation will be given for unused services, such as missed sessions or skipped activities due to personal choice.
6. Inclusions & Exclusions
Retreat packages include:
5 nights accommodation
Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Training sessions
Tri-island hopping excursion
1 massage
2 ice bath sessions
Motorcycle rental
Airport transfers
Prices exclude flights, visa fees, personal travel insurance, optional extras, alcoholic beverages, off-program meals, and personal expenses.
Guests are responsible for additional charges incurred at accommodations (e.g., laundry).
7. Optional Extras
SwimFIT may offer optional add-ons (e.g.,private coaching, additional excursions). These can be booked on arrival and paid separately.
Optional services are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed in advance.
8. Responsibility & Limitations
SwimFIT acts only as an intermediary for accommodation, transportation, and activity providers. We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or quality issues caused by third parties.
We are not liable for:
Flight cancellations or delays
Injury or death
Theft, loss, or damage to property
Natural disasters or force majeure events
Participation in any SwimFIT service is entirely at your own risk.
9. Media & Promotion
SwimFIT may take photographs or videos during sessions and retreats. These may be used for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing before the program.
If you share SwimFIT-related media online, we kindly ask that you tag or credit us appropriately.
10. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please bring it up with your coach or retreat leader immediately. We will do our best to resolve it on the spot.
If unresolved, written complaints must be submitted to theswimfitgroup@gmail.com within 30 days of your session.
11. Privacy
We collect and store personal data such as your name, contact details, health disclosures, and booking history in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties except where necessary for service delivery (e.g., Stripe, booking systems).
12. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions may be updated without notice. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies.
